What if everyone was a medical doctor?

It would be pretty amazing of a world if I could help myself if I was hurt or sick. If we want to educate everyone in the entire world there needs to be some sort of easily available open testing system. The hardest problem I would have is convincing myself. I have achieved enough knowledge or awareness about a health problem to figure it out. I suppose the rest of the people in the world would also have that trouble.

Does the regular operation of Dr skills and seeing a broad range of patients directly influence their abilities and how would that be if everyone is a Dr. I suppose there would be a time in your early life where you wouldn’t be up to it yet but sooner or later you know you will be able to study and learn as hard and as much as you want to become and expert Dr.

Planning and doing

It’s enjoyable to have holiday times. Remember about writing to the screen or not. One of my early papers was about studying how incidental imagery placed alongside the text field may influence the content. Strange to think of that happening just out in the broad world. I guess people do let their scenery influence their output why else would so many love poems be written in Paris.

Write Daily

its Christmas Eve. The morning of, the children are awake and busy. I don’t normally have a write daily practice but as life moves on from UCSB and I can’t just spend my days in that cloud I need to move on and out into the broader world. Where I don’t know everyone and everything as well or they me. So practicing writing daily is a bit more important now to cultivate that practice while it grows into a regular habit done without thinking.

Writing the thesis chapter on communication feels so easily doable. I’m happy it’s one of the main topics of my asynchronous thesis. Looking around while I work on it I realize there are so many different ways to understand it. Having all of these asynchronous chunks scattered here and there with no major topical entry point was a bit difficult. But then I find gems like how it is easier to write with a preexisting topic. Makes things flow faster to know where they are headed sort of things.

Whenever I sit in the garden I can hear the song from the hummingbird and other people out on the bike path. The hummingbird has a sort of squeaking whistle. He is communicating. I feel or suspect the hummingbird is male because he has some male behavior and my estimate of his size is he is large. But my knowledge of those features is only from the internet. I have not spoken with anyone I also knew to be a hummingbird expert about making sure. That detail is not so important anyways for understanding the communication. Suddenly I hear a buzz and now silence. The hummingbird has gone somewhere else. The buzz went on my left side but I’m not sure which way.

Today is my chance

Maybe taking things one day at a time and I could write and finish a chapter of my thesis. I know it’s only 4 chapters long I should be able to knock those out easy.

I wrote into the first chapter. It is bad to read it, so horribly out of order and full of dead ends and false starts. That’s why it needed edited and pulled together.

Build new habits

Every morning I do the same thing almost down to the minutes but that same thing changes from week to week anyways. Sometimes there is different foods or different clothes maybe different shoes. Most days the dog is the same the bicycle is the same the car is the same. The paths I walk are mostly similar and go the same places. Just on this recent day my phone changed and so has my old routine of daily life with these buttons I used to love to press not being quite so appealing.

Sunrise and hummingbird feeder.

Having a new phone or computer really, feels like getting a totally new life. I can’t wait to become a hummingbird image source. The little birds are so lovely and the two I have are becoming tame!
